Lawrence S. Corso II, DDS
Dr. Corso was born and raised in the Syracuse area. He attended Christian Brothers Academy then moved with his family to Florida where he graduated from Cape Coral High School. Upon returning to Syracuse, Dr. Corso did his undergraduate work at Syracuse University. He then graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 2000 and completed his General Practice Residency at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in Syracuse. Dr. Corso was invited to join our practice in 2001.
Community service is important to Dr. Corso and he volunteers at the St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center Dental Clinic where he works with the dental residents. At St. Joseph's Dr. Corso coordinates the dental implant program and works with the residents in all phases of implant dentistry. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Onondaga County Dental Society and is on the Board of Directors of Advocates Inc. Advocates is an organization that helps people with developmental disabilities fully participate in their home, schools and communities in a meaningful way.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Fifth District Dental Society, Onondaga County Dental Society, Spear Study Club and the Syracuse Dental Study Club. Dr. Corso is on the medical staff of St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center.
On a personal note, Dr. Corso has been married to his wife Lisa since 1996. They have two children. When not in the office Dr. Corso enjoys, woodworking, many outdoor activities and other activities with his family.
